Planetary Hoists

Hydraulic planetary hoists are designed for lifting loads. The most common applications are mobile cranes and offshore platform cranes. All BRADEN and Tulsa Winch planetary hoists feature spring-applied, hydraulically release the internal brake, an overrunning sprag clutch, and high-efficiency planetary gearing.

Winches with planetary hoists have many benefits. The most common benefit is that they are able to lift very heavy loads. They are also very efficient, meaning that they use less energy to lift the same amount of weight as a traditional winch. Additionally, planetary hoists tend to be more reliable and have a longer lifespan than other types of winches.
